As you get older, every year, you say you will make better progress with your fitness. When I turned 50 years old, that promise to myself seemed harder, results seemed to come much slower. My work situation has changed, my body has changed, the kids have busier schedules and through it all, I can’t use any of that as an excuse.
My will has to increase and I know that I am at a point that I must be more intentional about my fitness, especially when it comes down to my diet. To be honest, that is the area that needs the most attention right now. I’m using this as a way to also spend more time with my son as he also has his own fitness goals. It’s definitely a humbling experience but I don’t mind him seeing my grow within my own process.
